Tayong Dalawa airs January 19, 2009!
Tayong Dalawa (The Two of Us) is an upcoming Philippine primetime drama series on ABS-CBN, and is set to premiere on January 19, 2009. The story revolves around two friends in the military, who turn out to be half-brothers, will fall in love with the same girl. The title of the series was taken from one of Rey Valera’s classic songs
"Tayong Dalawa," the year’s most creative and reasonably budgeted teleserye according to Executive Producer Deo Endrinal, is the compelling story of two males, Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca, with one name, one dream and one love in Kim Chiu. It’s necessarily respective stories to two mothers and two fathers. With two directors, Ruel Bayani and Trina Dayrit, it will kick off on Jan. 19 on ABS-CBN Primetime Block, As to be expected, it has two theme songs, Gary Valenciano’ “Tayong Dalawa” theme song and Lani Misalucha’s "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin.” For sure, the teleserye touches on the duality of life which gives the plain and simple title as entirely beautiful and intriguing meaning.
